PURPOSE:To reduce the number of processes and produce a printing pattern correctly by a method wherein the printing pattern is printed in printing ink containing foam retardant on a base cloth, and foamable synthetic resin pastesol is painted thereon to cover the printed pattern. CONSTITUTION:A long base cloth 2 is fed to a conveyor 5 from an unwinding roller 1 and transferred toward a rewinding roller 3. In transfer a predetermined decorative pattern is printed on the base cloth 2 consecutively by a printing roller 6 in printing ink B containing foam retardant. After the pattern printed on the base cloth 2 is dried by a drier 7, a foamable synthetic resin pastesol C is equally spread on the base cloth 2 with a printing pattern by a spreading roller 8. The layers of equally spread foamable synthetic resin pastesol is heated by a heater 9 to foam a part where the printing pattern is not printed so that an uneven pattern is obtained, and then the cloth 2 is rewinded by the rewinding roller 3. |
