In a system for final treatment in orthodontic dental adjustment with the aid of a set of prefabricated fine-adjustment instruments (positioners or, rather, finishers) having a dental arch shape and reception troughs for the teeth, organic occlusion taking account of the individual mandibular kinematics is achieved in that the particular adjustment instrument is chosen from among a set in which each adjustment instrument is dimensioned according to a different mesio-distal tooth diameter and according to a different dental arch shape.
