This device is mounted on a supporting frame which is fitted in the wall. A WC or bidet body is fastened by means of a nut to a fastening bolt of the device. The fastening bolt projects from the supporting frame. To reduce the transmission of solid-borne sound from the WC or bidet body to the supporting frame, the fastening bolt (1) is sound-proofed from the supporting frame. In this arrangement, each fastening bolt (1) is connected to a sound-insulating supporting part (2). The fastening bolt (1) as well as its screw connection (4) to the sound-insulating supporting part (2) are surrounded on all sides by sound-insulating parts (5, 9), the sound-insulating supporting part (2) being held by means of a screw connection (6) on an elongated hole (7) made on the supporting frame. <IMAGE>
