PURPOSE:To facilitate the uniform coating of offset preventing liquid to a roll surface, by adding and mixing a coloring agent to and with the offset preventing liquid and then coating the liquid to the roll surface. CONSTITUTION:A fixation roll is rotated as shown by an arrow and a base 6 such as paper carrying a toner image 5 is sent in to fix the image. A roll surface contacts a felt 3 through the rotation of a fixation roll 1 to apply the offset preventing liquid to the roll surface. The coloring agent is added to the offset preventing liquid, so whether the surface of the felt 3 is coated with the offset preventing liquid uniformly lengthwise and breadthwise or not is recognized visually and immediately. Thus, the coating of the offset preventing liquid to the surface of the fixation roll 1 is uniformed easily. |
