发明名称 MANUFACTURING METHOD OF PROPERLLER FOR PROPELLING SHIP
摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the strength of a propeller, by cutting a thin sheet which is formed of a plastic applied on the surface of a metal foil, into such shapes that are obtained by dividing a propeller blade at contour planes in the thickness direction of the propeller, and by sequentially stacking the thus obtained cut pieces between dies for pressing and hardening the stacked pieces. CONSTITUTION:A resin such as, for example, unsatruated polyester is applied to the surface of a metal foil such as, for example, stainless steel so that a thin sheet having a thickness of about 150-300mum is manufactured, and the thus obtained sheet is cut into a plurality of shapaes which are obtained by cutting a propeller blade 1 at contour planes in the thickness directions thereof. The cut sheet pieces are sequentially stacked between dies, are pressed and hardened in a method metal die method to be formed into the shape of the propeller blade 1. The propeller blade 1 is made of a cmposite material including a metal foil as a reinforcement which is plane-isotropic and has a high strength, is secured with adapters 2 made of FRP on both sides of the root part of the propeller blade and then is screwed into a groove 5 in the boss part 4 of a propeller shaft 3. A propeller cap is fitted and fastened to the threaded part 6 of the shaft for securing the propeller.
