<p>The connection element (3) is comprised of a bearing-forming portion (3a) provided with a hole (3b) which houses the spring pin (4), said portion being connected to a conical and slendered connection tongue (3c, 3d). When assembling the connection element (3), the surfaces (3e, 3f) of the bearing forming portion (3a) are set in place facing the matching surfaces of the watch case (1) so as to obtain a positioning arrangement of which the rotation is limited by two projections (3p). The side edges of the longitudinal area (3c) of the connection tongue (3c, 3d) are formed by the faces of the stop ribs (3h, 3i) projecting on both sides. The stop ribs (3h) are interconnected by another rib (3g). The strap made of natural or synthetic leather (2) is formed by two layers (2a, 2b) glued to each other. The connection tongue (3c, 3d) is inserted between those two layers and is secured to the latter also by glueing. Thereby, a continuous and elegant connection between the limited rotation leather strap and the watch case, which was heretofore possible only by using annular or modern link watch bands, is obtained. </p> |
