PURPOSE:To discriminate the residual quantity of a tape, the front face and the rear face of a magnetic tape cartridge, etc. at a look, by providing transparent windows in an upper case and a lower case asymmetrically and making these transparent window so large that the whole of one spool is almost seen through them and the outside circumferential part of the inside of the other spool is seen through them at least. CONSTITUTION:An upper case 3 and a lower case 4 are formed with opaque plastic materials normally. In the upper case 3 to be the front face side, relatively large transparent windows 6 and 6' formed with transparent plastic materials are provided in positions deflected to the left, namely, positions facing each other on the front face and the rear face so that the quantity of wound magnetic tape 2 can be seen from the external. Transparent windows 6 and 6' are so large and approximately square that the whole of a spool 1 is almost seen through them and the outside circumferential part of the inside of a spool 1' is seen through them at least. |
