<p>An industrial wine-making filter of the type comprising a chamber contg. a number of vertical filter panels. All the panels are fixed to the top of a common, tubular manifold into which filtrate is discharged from the cavity of each filter panel. The manifold is controllably vibrated to shake the panels and thus detach filter cake. The panels are connected together by their top edges being fixed to a rigid connectors. Buffers are provided to limit the amplitude of panel vibration on both sides of its median position. The buffers are pref. fixed to the inside of the chamber. The connectors pref. comprise a pair of parallel bars symmetrically fixed at right angles to the planes of the panels. The top edge of each panel has vertical studs rigidly fixed into the bars. The filter is intended for use in the wine-making industry.</p> |
