PURPOSE:To improve a mass-producing property and uniformity of a quality, by providing a magnetic circuit forming projecting part which is made to press-contact with the other side, on the joint surfaces of the first and the second cores, and adsorbing and forming a thin film-like winding coil having a shape for surrounding the projecting part, on one of the joint surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular projecting part 14 is provided projectingly as one body in prescribed height in the center part on a flat joint surface of the first core 10, and a magnetic gap forming projection 15 having the same height as the projecting part 14, and prescribed track width T is formed as one body in the center part of the upper one side. The end face of this projecting part 14 and the projection 15 is polished like a specular surface, on which a non-magnetic thin film 16 such as SiO2, Cr, etc. is adsorbed and formed, and the thin film 16 on the projection 15 is utilized for forming a magnetic gap (g) at the time of joining the first and the second cores 10, 11. Subsequently, a winding coil 17 consisting of a conductive thin film of Cr, Al, etc. is adsorbed and formed around the projecting part 14 by a spattering method or a vapor- depositing method, and thereafter, the second core is made to adhere. As for such a magnetic head, plural pieces are manufactured in a lump, and the mass-producing property and uniformity of a quality are improved. |
