ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE-POLYETHER-VINYL GRAFT COPOLYMERS

A graft copolymer comprising (I) as a first polymeric moiety an organopolysiloxane with OH functional groups, (II) as a second polymeric moiety a polyether, and (III) units of vinyl monomer which have been polymerized in the presence of mixtures of the first and second polymeric moieties which moieties are linked via vinyl polymer bridges, is produced by polymerizing a suitable monomer dispersion. The product is suited for replacing all or some of the organopolysioloxane component in room temperature curable compositions containing organopolysiloxanes, silane cross-linking agents and a curing catalyst.
