PURPOSE:To transfer to next printing even by a nonskillful person in a short time and to sufficiently cope with the ageing change of a printer by inputting the basic conditions of printing and automatically conducting the initialization work of the conditions of an offset rotary press. CONSTITUTION:Parameters necessary to set the initializing conditions of sections of a printer are input from an input unit 1. A calculator 5 determines the preset content on the basis of input basic conditions and predetermined calculation formula, displays it on a display 6, feeds a signal to a drive controller 2 on the basis of the determined preset content, and drives the sections of the printer, thereby executing the preset. When this process is finished, printing is started. The calculator 5 loads the set values of the sections during operation, and displays them on the display 6. When the printing is finished, the loaded set value is printed, and output. Then, the calculator 5 rewrites the coefficient of the formula for calculating the preset value on the basis of the loaded result data, or rewrites the table values, thereby initializing more preferably. |
