LIGHT RECEIVING AND EMITTING MODULE

PURPOSE:To constitute an adjusting member thickly and to increase the rigidity of a module by coupling a rod lens holding member with an adjusting member by welding the tip of the tapered part of the adjusting member. CONSTITUTION:A tapered part 7 is formed at end part of the adjusting member 4 and the adjusting member 4 is welded to the rod lens holding member 5 at triangular marks at the top. A recessed part 8 is formed at one end part of the 2nd member for holding a light receiving and emitting element which contacts the adjusting member 4, which is also is welded to the adjusting member at the recessed part 8 shown by triangular marks. The adjusting member 4 has the tapered part 7 and is welded at the tip part, so the adjusting member 4 itself is reduced in thickness and increased in rigidity.
