PURPOSE:To enable the internal atmospheric pressure of a caisson to be corrected according to the levels of ground water by a method in which the internal atmospheric pressure of the caisson working chamber is transmitted to a pressure receiver in a well drilled in parallel with the outside of the caisson, and the difference between the level of ground water and the internal atmospheric pressure of the caisson is obtained and displayed on an indicator on the land. CONSTITUTION:A well 13 is drilled to a deeper depth than the expected setting depth of a caisson in the outside of the caisson body 1 settled under the ground 11. The internal atmospheric pressure of the working chamber 2 of the caisson body 1 is transmitted to a pressure receiver 16 inserted into the well 13, and by the difference between the water pressure in the well 13 and the internal atmospheric pressure of the caisson body 1, the pressure receiver 16 is operated to transmit the pressure difference to an indicator 17 on the land. By this, the internal atmospheric pressure of the caisson body 1 can be easily corrected according to the variation in the water level. |
