PURPOSE:To measure a concn. with simple constitution without any influence of bubbles by dropping a sample on filter paper from a prescribed height by a quantitative dropping apparatus, measuring a time for penetrating up to a point of predetermined distance from the dropping point and comparing the time with a calibration line. CONSTITUTION:The sample liquid 1 is dropped on the filter paper 3 from the predetermined height by the quantitative dropping apparatus 2 due to a command of a controller 9. Electrodes 4, 5 provided in contact with the backside of the filter paper at the dropping point is conducted electrically through the sample liquid penetrated into the paper 3, and the controller 9 begins time measurement by an electric signal, measures the penetration time of the sample liquid up to the electrode 6 set at the predetermined distance from the dropping point and supplies the output to an arithmetic part 10. The part 10 compares the output with the calibration line stored previously to detect the sample concn. and supplies the output to a display part 11. Then, the controller 9 winds up the prescribed amount of the paper 3 through a motor M by the command and commands the next dropping to the apparatus 2. Thus the concn. is measured without any influence of the bubbles. |
