PURPOSE:To use a low-cost AC amplifier for light receiving part, by converting serial data to pseudo-random by using a scramble circuit to eliminate a DC component. CONSTITUTION:Serial data is converted to pseudo-random by using a scramble circuit 350 to eliminate a DC component. The output of the circuit 350 is converted to an optical signal and transmitted to a light receiving part 500 on a monitor side through one line of optical cable. The optical signal transmitted to the light receiving part 500 is converted to an electric signal by a photodetector 510 and amplified in AC by an AC amplifier 520. Since it is not necessary to amplify from DC at this stage, no high-priced complex wide band amplifier is required, but only a low-cost AC amplifier is sufficient. |
