PURPOSE:To enable to set arbitrarily the number of reserve functional modules by a method wherein the circuit is let to have reserve functional modules, which are used for functional devices which constitute a necessary number of functional modules. CONSTITUTION:Now, M1, M3, and M4 of the functional modules 1 are supposed to be normal, and M2 and M5 faulty. A flag EF2 indicating abnormality is inputted from the M2 of the functional modules 1 through a flag signal line 6 to S1 and S2 of a generation circuit 4 for connection insting signal. Flags EF1, EF3, and EF4 indicate normality. The S1 of the generation circuit 4 for connection instructing signal receives the connection instructing signal (100) which represents the selective connection of the functional module M1 at the most left end from the connection instructing signal line 2 on the left side, and then produces the connection instructing signal (100) which represents the selective connection of the functional module M1 at the most left end by the flags EF1 and EF2. The generation circuit S2 for connection instructing signal receives the connection instructing signal (100) of the former stage, and then produces a connection instructing signal (010) by shifting a bit in said connection instructing signal, in order to selectively connect the M3 of the functional modules 1 by the flag signals EF2 and EF3. |
