A circuit arrangement is specified by means of which, for example, the position of a door can be monitored by remote transmission and displayed. On the door, a permanent magnet (4) can be attached which influences a magnetic pulse generator (1) to which two optical transmitters (2, 3) having different emission wavelengths are connected.
