By means of the appliance, decanting is substantially simplified and accelerated by a reduction in the manual labour. In particular, scooping out during part-quantity extractions is made substantially easier by means of a mechanical lifting and adaptation to a suitable working height. By means of attachment units, such as dust extraction, empty-drum disposal, integrated balance and feed and discharge devices, the appliance can be of universal use and thus fills a gap in the previous range on offer. The conventional use is in weighing. However, it would seem to be very useful for chemistry, pharmacy, cosmetics, food production and paints and varnishes.
