PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the backup to make preparations for the damage, etc., of a medium in the case the information of a 1st device is erased after the information is copied to a 2nd device for preventing the illegal copying in a conventional information copying system for copying the information stored in the 1st device to the 2nd device. SOLUTION: By the 1st device 100, the discrimination is made whether the 2nd device 200 is the copying permitted device or not, based on the specified basic information for discrimination transmitted to the 1st device 100 from the 2nd device 200, then the copying of the information is allowed only in the case the 2nd device 200 is discriminated as the copy permitted device. By this procedure, the illegal copying is prevented, and further the information copying system capable of backing up because of making preparations for the damage, etc., of the medium is obtained without setting up the limit of the number of times for operation, etc. |
