PURPOSE:To prevent illegal use of a card, by checking the qualification of a user with the key number of the card when a cash dispensing machine performs payment, and also inhibiting the payment when the paid amount of money exceeds a predetermined limit of payment. CONSTITUTION:The cash card CCD is inserted into a card reader 12 and its key number is inputted on a keyboard 13A. A control part 17 gives a successive guidance through 13B. The user inputs the amount of money to be paid on the keyboard 13A according to the guidance and presses a button after confirming the amount of money on the display 13B. The control part 17 transmits an account number, the key number, and the amount of money to be paid to a computer 11A. A CPU performs retrieval in a storage part DA by using the account number as a key word to confirm the key number and read the preset limit amount of money to be paid to confirm that the amount of money to be paid is within the limit and less than the balance; and an indication of payment is sent to a payment part 15 to perform payment and a receipt is issued at a section 16. Consequently, prevention against illegal use is secured. |
