PURPOSE:To reduce the deflection and deviation of transfer paper, by using an annular insulating belt in place of a cylindrical transfer drum. CONSTITUTION:Transfer paper 6 supplied through a paper feed port 8 is nipped by the gripper 4 of an annular insulating net belt 2 opened by a grip cam 11 and is attracted electrostatically to the belt 2 by an electrostatic charger 7, whereby the paper is transferred to a photosensitive drum 1. The toner image on the drum 1 is transferred on the paper 6 by an electrostatic charger 3 for transfer and the paper 6 is conveyed by the belt 2. The paper 6 is destaticized as it passes through a destaticizer 10 after the same is subjected to similar multiple copying. When the gripper 4 is opened by the cam 11, the paper is discharged through a discharge port 9. The deflection and deviation of the transfer paper are reduced by the constitution using the annular insulating belt in place of a cylindrical transfer drum and the image having no color deviation is formed by the multiple transfer. |
