PURPOSE:To obtain the title composite magnetic material having sufficient degree of moldability and orientational property and to increase its filling rate higher than that of the material heretofore in use by a method wherein a specific organic metal compound is contained in the composite magnetic material consisting of thermoplastic resin and magnetic powder. CONSTITUTION:The titled composite magnetic material consists of 3-20wt% of nylon, 79.8-95wt% of magnetic powder, 1-5wt% of lubricant, and 0.5-3wt% of the surface treatment agent of the organic metal compound indicated by the formula separately. The frictional resistance between the surface of the magnetic powder and the nylon in a fused state can be reduced by the organic metal compound indicated by the above-mentioned formula, and the degree of melting viscosity can also be lowered. Accordingly, the quantity of magnetic powder larger than that which was used before can be mixed without impairing workability, and the orientational property of the magnetic powder in a magnetic field can be improved substantially. |
