PURPOSE:To prevent the overload of a filament by comparing the voltage that is proportional to the limit value of filament current with the preset voltage that is proportional to the filament current determined by selected tube current and voltage. CONSTITUTION:The voltage controlled by a transistor 4 is switched into a high frequency voltage by transistors 9a and 9b and the filament of an x-ray tube 12 is heated through a transformer 11 by this voltage. At the same time, the tube current is detected by a detection circuit 101 and said tube current value plus a signal obtained by comparing the voltage between the tube current preset circuit 16 and a filament current limiting voltage source V0 and switching a selection switch 302 are applied to an adder 21 so as to control the transistor 4. As a result, when the preset value exceeds the limiting voltage V0, overcurrent can be prevented from flowing into the filament and flash stop can be controlled by applying the partial voltage value of the limiting voltage to the adder 21. |
