摘要

PURPOSE:To transport many kinds of article by means of simple constitution by stretching in a form of an endless loop an egg-shaped link chain with a padding or auxiliary member as necessary in a passage member like a pipe etc. in such a manner that the forward travelling side of the link chain trails on the passage bottom. CONSTITUTION:Egg-shaped links 1a to 1d are connected with their directions alternately changed by 90 deg. to each other in an endless form to form a chain 1. And the chain 1 is stretched in a passage member 2 in such manner that the chain 1 trails and circulates itself on the bottom of the passage member 2. With this constitution, an article to be transported in the passage 2 is transported toward the arrow-marked direction in the passage 2 by the forward travelling chain of the circulating chain 1 and finally discharged. In this case, the links 1a to 1d are provided at a suitable interval with projected parts 7 formed by building-up welding in order to increase transporting capacity. With this constitution, articles having sizes distributing in a wide range can be transported by a simple structure.
