PURPOSE:To obtain continuous supply of tape in a continuous printing machine or the like by placing tapes on a pair of tables and positioning the adhesive tip of a new tape close to the tape in use and pushing the new tape to the tape in use. CONSTITUTION:While a tape T1 is drawn out, a new tape T2 is placed on a turntable D2 on the other side, and its tip with an adhesive part of both-side adhesive tape or the like is conducted between a movable blade 3 and a fixed blade 4, and attached to a pressing roller 5. Then, when the finish of the tape T1 is detected by a photoelectric cell R, a rack 7 is shifted to the moving direction of the tape T1 by a solenoid, and a pair of pressing roll 5 are brought near via both pinions 6 to press the tip of the tape T2 to the tape T1 for attaching. Simultaneously, the movable blade 3 is oscillated in one direction to cooperate with the fixed blade 4, and the tape T1 in use is cut off for finishing the connection. Then, the rack 7 and, consequently, the both pressing rolls 5 are returned, and the new tape T2 is continued to be drawn out. |
