<p>: Coal particles are carbonized by heating them in a series of fluidized beds to produce fuel gas, tars and calcined char while using recycle calcined char to provide carbonization heat and recycle carbonizer gas as the fluidizing atmosphere for the carbonization. A high BTU by-product gas is obtained and increased yields of oils and tars.</p> |
