PURPOSE:To relieve the driver of labor in opening and closing a roof panel, by providing a controlling logic for opening and closing the roof panel according to the environmental conditions. CONSTITUTION:The roof panel 20 is fitted to the roof 11 of a vehicle 10 so that it can be freely opened and closed both by tilting and by sliding. The vehicle 10 is provided with an outside air temperature sensor 31, an outside humidity sensor 32, an inside air temperature sensor 33, a smoke sensor 34 and a direct sunshine sensor 35 as environmental condition sensors, which are connected to an electrical controlling unit 40. With this construction and controlling operations of an electronic controller, when a key switch is closed, an opening of the roof panel for obtaining an appropriate interior temperature and an appropriate air temperature can be automatically set in accordance with the presence or absence of raining, ON or OFF condition of an air conditioner 36, the outside air temperature, the presence or absence of smoke in the interior, and the presence or absence of direct sunshine. |
