PURPOSE:To control the running direction surely without using a plunger, by providing an exclusive drive source driver forward and backward in response to the constant speed and the high speed running mode and switching the running direction with the drive section. CONSTITUTION:Assuming that a main gear cam 41 is driven anticlockwise in the forward reproduction, in the operation of a reversal switching device 40 and a returning mechanism. The rotation of the cam 41 slides a reproducing slider 47 toward the E and heads 55, 82 are rotated in response to the running direction. The current of an assistant motor 42 rotating the cam 41 is made minute and the forward reproductions is done. When the reproduction slider 47 is restored to a stop, the motor 42 is reversed with a reverse signal and the cam 41 is rotated clockwise. The head 55 is rotated in response to the running direction when the cam 41 is engaged with the slider 47. In the returning mechanism formed at the lower side of the cam 41, a returning lever 70 is turned anticlockwise accompanied with the clockwise rotation of the cam 41. |
