PURPOSE:To use a memory circuit in common and to attain efficient reproduction, by converting the scanning line number of a digital video signal of the 1st scanning line system at a scanning line conversion circuit, obtaining the signal of the 2nd scanning line number system and storing the signal in a memory. CONSTITUTION:An analog video signal of the 1st scanning line number system of picture information to be recorded is digital-pulse-modulated to obtain a digital video signal, which is arranged in the same word so as to transmit each one picture element data of the same sampling point in approximately the same time among each picture element data of two adjacent scanning lines, and a disc 40 recorded in time series is reproduced. The digital video signal of the reproduced 1st scanning line number system is converted for the scanning line number at a scanning line number conversion circuit 87 to produce the digital video signal of the 2nd scanning line number system, and the 2nd scanning line number system digital video signal is stored in memory circuits 94, 95. |
