An automatic editing file generation method minimizing process by a user while producing the editing file and a device thereof are provided to allow the user not to need to produce new editing file by oneself. An automatic editing file generation method comprises a step of successively applying a signal selecting one or more files to edit(S800), a step of determining whether the selected file is a moving picture file or a static image file(S801), a step of determining the time when the static image file is displayed as the set arbitrary time(S802) and a step of producing the displayed moving picture editing file(S804). The step of producing the displayed moving picture editing file comprises a step of uploading the produced moving picture file for encoding, a step of login after connecting to a specific web site and a step of uploading the encoded file to the web site.
