PURPOSE:To shorten the evaporation time, and to prevent overheat by using a heating element of comparatively low resistance having a positive resistance temperature coefficient in order to heat liquid fuel, detecting the temperature of the heating element and controlling conduction to the element. CONSTITUTION:The evaporator 4 is manufactured by surrounding a heater 5, in which the heating element 5b is buried into a ceramic heating element 5a, by a hollow vessel 6 made of a metal or ceramics, and liquid fuel supplied into the hollow vessel 6 from a supply port 6a is heated and evaporated. A heating element having the positive resistance temperature coefficient and comparatively low resistance value is used as said one 5b at that time. The heating element 5b forms a bridge circuit by resistors R1-R3, potential VA, VB at nodes A, B is compared by a comparator 13, a switching element 12 is ON-OFF controlled through a one-shot multivibrator 14 according to the comparison result, and conduction to the evaporator 5 is controlled. |
