The invention relates to a holder for a standard console which bears a multilayer panel heater and consists of a console tube which is plugged into a receiving device of a bottom plate and on which the holder is mounted at the top and a console at the bottom, the console tube being sealed at the top by means of a plastic cap which consists of a pin plug and a plug limiter rim, two clamping arms which are located opposite one another and can be displaced outwards laterally with the aid of expanding means being seated on the plug limiter rim of the plastic cap.
