PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of internal fluid surely by providing a groove in the circumferential edge part of one of the surfaces of a flange joint part of a pressure container, fastening the flange joint part with bolts, and thereafter pouring in a molten metal having a low melting point in this groove. CONSTITUTION:The upper casing half 1 and lower casing half 2 are coupled by bolts 3 and nuts 4 at their flanged parts 1a, 2a, and then a molten metal having a low melting point 6 such as lead is poured in a groove 5 provided in the circumferential edge part of the lower flange surface 2a. Thus a mating surfaces of a flange coupling are sealed. Accordingly leakage of the internal fluid through the flange joint surfaces can be prevented as well as risk of gap generation between the surfaces owing to corrosion can be eliminated. |
