PURPOSE:To make the handling of the recording paper smooth by arranging trays above and below storing the recording paper so that the protruded length of a fine and long support member can be adjusted as required in accordance with the length of the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:When the extrusion length L0 of a discharged original 3b extruding from a discharge tray 2 becomes large and an original 3 is weak-kneed, if the center portion 15a of a support member 15 is extracted, the center portion 15a is extruded from the discharge tray 2 and the extruded length becomes L. Under this condition, the extrusion length of a discharged original 3b becomes shorter as L', and the original 3b is made reluctant to droop downward. Since the center line direction of the hole 14a of a lug 14 is set at an inclination nearer to the lengthwise direction of the tray 2 as compared with that of the center line of the hole 13a of a lug 13, a sufficient friction force is applied to the sliding surface between the holes 13a, 14a and support member 15, thereby the original 3b is firmly supported by the discharge tray 2 and support member 15. |
