The coins of different denominations are in holders(15a, to 15e) above corresponding coin receptacles(17a to 17e). A coin placed on a receptacle is flipped out by an arm(21) that is rotated by rotary shaft(14). The coin is, or is not, delivered depending on whether the arm is selectively moved up or down by a signal to a solenoid(22). Pref. this is used in a cash register, having a keyboard for data entry and a printer.
