The pneumatically constructed hangar dome (1) has a large opening (2) obtained by a cut in the vertical plane, the opening being closed by a concrete door (5) pivoting about a vertical axis to bed itself into the opening. The door pivot axis is slightly upstream of the door vertical plane. The door is covered by a cladding carried by a metal framework itself carried by a bogey on friction rollers, the framework having two symmetrical assemblies of oblique supports arranged one at each side of the concrete door.
