The fibre-optic pressure-measuring device measures two different pressures, e.g. of explosive gases or liquids. For differential pressure measurements, the optical fibres of two fibre-optic sensors having a common base body (7) and two diaphragm-like sensor faces (11, 12) that can be moved with respect to the base body (7) can be deformed mechanically as a function of pressure in such a way that the light fed into the fibre from a common light source at one end is scattered by the deformation. The amount of light emerging at the other end is measured by two detectors (23, 24). The different magnitudes of the signals of the detectors produce a measure of the pressure difference in the chambers (3 and 4) in an evaluation circuit (27). <IMAGE>
