PURPOSE:To facilitate carrying in and out of material by workers by furnishing a movable step from the side so that it may project between the shelves, in an elevator loading table of a stacker crane. CONSTITUTION:A pallet 69 laden with a long-sized material 68 is placed on a carrying conveyer 41, and is carried to the position corresponding to an optional shelf by a stacker crane 12. Then, the carrying conveyer 41 is operated and the laden pallet is fed on to a shelf 4. In case some proper quantity of long-sized material have to be carried onto a shelf, a movable step 3 is projected between the shelves 4, and a worker walks on the movable step 3 carrying the long-sized material to supply it on the shelf 4. In case of carrying out the material, it can be made in a procedure reverse to that of carrying in. |
