PURPOSE:To make phosphor liquid to be spread over the internal surface of a bent bulb without rotating said bulb when the phosphor liquid is spread, by applying a pressure difference between opening ends in order to move said liquid spreading it over said internal surface, and exhausting said residual liquid from the other opening end. CONSTITUTION:A bent bulb 1 is set by means of a spreading device, at the same time a selector valve 7 is actuated to pour a proper quantity of phosphor liquid into a trap 6. Next, the selector valve 7 is switched so that compressed air may be poured into the bent bulb 1, then a booster valve 11 is opened, high-compressed air is caused to flow from a booster device 9 in order to push out the phosphor liquid which is collected in the trap 6, said phosphor liquid is poured into the bent bulb 1 from a pouring nozzle 5 and moved as a collected group inside the bent bulb 1 and an exhaust pipe 12, and exhausted into a recovering tank 13. After said phosphor liquid is recovered into the recovering tank 13, the booster valve 11 is closed. Thereafter, the bent bulb 1 is dismounted from the spreading device and another bulb is set. Meanwhile, a proper quantity of the phosphor liquid is poured between the selector valve 7 and an adjusting valve 10. |
