<p>A device for driving a rotary sieve device (2), which device comprises at least one drive set (17) that is connected through a transmission with one or more rotatable sieve surfaces (1), which are placed in a housing (2, 3).</p><p>The novelty is the pneumatic tyre (9) mounted on a wheel (11) that is fastened to a bushing (13) mounted on the outgoing shaft (16) of the drive set (17). The running surface (10) of the pneumatic tyre (9) contacts a drive surface (7) on the outside of the housing (2, 3), which is connected by means of a horizontal leg (5) to a vertical ring (6) fastened around the sieve surface (1).</p><p>This arrangement provides for the slippage and/or elastic deformation of the pneumatic tyre (9, 10) in case of shocks or impact loads on the sieve surface (1) caused by amounts of material to bei sieved that suddenly come on the sieve surface. By this slippage and/or elastic deformation the drive set isprotected against damage, wheres maintenance and renewal are simplified.</p> |
