PURPOSE:To hold an image carrier and a charger invariably at a starting interval by specifying the position of the electric charger by a specifying member in opposition to the image carrier, and supporting the charger while energizing it toward the image carrier side by elastic supporting bodies. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor is provided to the frame 27 of an upper unit and a transferring device and a peeling device are provided to the frame 29 of a lower unit respectively; and the transferring device and peeling device are formed as a corona discharging device 3. In the shield case 32 of the discharger body 31, a discharging wire 33 is extended and supporting pieces 40 on the top surfaces of both ends of the body 31 abut on the frame 27 of the upper unit to perform positioning; and a corona discharger 34 is energized by coiled springs 39 toward the photoreceptor side. One of the coiled springs 39 is formed of a conductive material and a voltage is applied to the discharging wire 33 through it. |
