The subject of the invention is a clamping device for an adjusting means in the path of connection of an oscillating arm in a heald loom to a heald of a weaving machine, by means of which it is possible to adjust the length between a connecting tube (9) and a connecting rod (10) projecting into this. In order to allow the healds to be adjusted to millimetre accuracy even under load, it is proposed to arrange between the connecting tube (9) and connecting rod (10) a self-locking adjustment mechanism (15) with a worm drive or a screw drive.
