PURPOSE:To select and receive a channel having the highest input sensitivity by storing the channel with the highest input in a memory through a level detecting circuit and a comparator. CONSTITUTION:Outputs from an IF stage 2 are compared by a detecting circuit 6 in accordance with scanning operation. If an output level more than scan sensitivity is detected, the detected level is compared with a level stored in the 1st memory 9 by a comparator 8, and when the detected level is larger than the level stored in the memory 9, the detected level is newly stored in the memory 9 instead of the one stored in the memory 9 precedently and the tuning frequency at that time is newly stored in the 2nd memory 10. Being tuned with the tuning frequency of the memory 10 by a controller 3 at the completion of scanning operation, an electronic tuner tunes with the frequency of the highest output level. |
