PURPOSE:To reduce a flame raising over the combustion cylinder and improve a safety characteristics by a method wherein a raising flame prevention body is arranged over the inner flame cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An inner flame cylinder 10, outer flame cylinder 11 and an outer cylinder 12 are arranged substantially in a concentric form with a relative proper clearance thereamong, a fuel gas is supplied at an extremity end of the wick 9 positioned at the lower end of the clearance between the inner flame cylinder 10 and the outer flame cylinder 11. Air for combustion is supplied from the lower end of the clearance between the outer flame cylinder 11 and the outer cylinder metallic part 12' and from the interior of the wick guide cylinder 7 and then mixed with fuel. Numeral 13 indicates a flame expansion plate arranged over the inner flame cylinder 10 and formed in integral with a raising flame preventive body 13b covering an outer part of the unit from the clearance between the inner flame cylinder 10 and the outer flame cylinder 11 via cylinder part 13a formed with its circumferential edge being extended upwardly. The raising flame preventive body 13b has a circular shape in top plan view and so all the flames 14 may not directly be extended upwardly even if the raising flame is produced around the entire circumference thereof.
