<p>Installation for transporting fluids, esp. hydrocarbons esp. for use in cold countries, comprises a pipeline (5) with at least one tube arranged inside a closed linear construction consisting of a supporting slab (1) at ground level, two carrier beams (2) and a roof (3) supported on the beams, the installation being provided with a heating mechanism so as to keep the temperature of the fluid being transported at a predetermined level. The installation is esp. for transporting petroleum. The system avoids the need to bury the pipeline deep in the earth where it is subject to internal and external corrosion and damage due to pressure by rocks, causing rupture.</p> |
