PURPOSE:To count back the rate of change in roll alignment during operation and detect the actual roll alignment by determining the required current values of motors for driving rolls for drawing from the information which is beforehand measured actually and comparing the same with the current values measured during the operation. CONSTITUTION:The latest data A on the roll alignment which is measured actually and the data B on casting conditions of charge are inputted from a keyboard 8 to an arithmetic control unit 7 which operates and stores the required current values of respective motors 5 corresponding to the required drawing force of slabs. The currents flowing in the motors 5 after the start of casting are measured with an ammeter 9, and the measured values thereof are compared with the required current values operated by the unit 7, and the defective roll alignment is counted back from the differences between both. The actual rates of the roll alignment during operation are operated and detected from said values, and the changes in the roll alignment are recorded in a recorder 11 and are printed with a printer 12, and are further displayed on a CRT. The said changes are also outputted to an alarm setter 14. |
