The new design of the combined 2-stroke combustion engine has the following new characteristics: 1. A special piston shape, which divides the intake chamber from the combustion chamber and at the same time on two sides performs the functions for the combustion process in a single cycle. 2. The pendulum-like suspension of the piston in the engine housing, which ensures an extremely stable alignment in the four swept volumes, which results in low wear. 3. The facility for mixing fresh and burnt gas in the compression process, which results in more rapid heating and favourable combustion pressures at average compression ratios. 4. An especially low and lightweight engine construction, which has been achieved by a suitable assembly of all moving parts having a low weight. w
