PURPOSE:To prevent deviation of picture images from copying paper and to enable free selection of the sizes of copying paper, by changing an image scanning range of information pieces such as aperture cards in accordance with selected magnifying projections and selected sizes of copying paper. CONSTITUTION:An aperture card 2 is positioned with respect to its short side direction while its long sides located below the guide grooves 114 of a carriage 111 are held in contact with said grooves. When the preceding end of the card 2 passes through the 3rd detecting element 97 and an operation signal is generated from said element, a solenoid which has turned a holder around a shaft against a compression spring is deenergized by a delay circuit, then the card 2 which was held in the prescribed position of the carriage 111 is held flately by means of the pressure plate 93a of glass fixed to the carriage 111 and the pressure plate 93 of glass held to the holder in such a way that the microfilm adhered to the square window of the card 2 intersects orthogonally with the optical axis of a projecting lens 8. |
