PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of working, by making as small as possible the movable range of the tool head of a machine unit provided with a numerical device so that the above-mentioned unit may be incorporated in a transfer machine, thereby the time of shifting the tool head and as well the time of changing thereof are minimized. CONSTITUTION:Estimating that the number of spindles in the transfer direction Y is two, that is, n=2, the movable range L of a tool head is given by A/2. That is, the moving distances of the spindles 11, 12 may be small with respect to the maximum working area by arranging a plurality of the spindles 11, 12 in the transfer direction. Therefore, a machine unit provided with a numerical control device may be incorporated in a transfer machine already constructed, thereby the loss time in the positional control of the spindles becomes small. |
