Heat meter

Heat meters for heaters of individual rooms in a centrally heated building have heat-sensitive parts and/or parts to be protected against manipulation, such as batteries, measuring devices, meters and the like. For the purpose of accommodation in a compact unit and for protection, it is provided to arrange the heat meter in essentially at least one can-shaped housing which serves as a rotary knob for the heater valve or is connected thereto. The interior of the housing is sub-divided by the rotary knob and/or a partition into at least a hot section surrounding the valve, and a cold section. At least the heat-sensitive parts are arranged in the cold section, and at least one temperature sensor is arranged in the hot section.
